July 7 - Red Lodge, MT

It was sad to say good-bye to Grace at Bozeman airport today. We were so happy to have had her travel with us. We all will miss her!

After leaving the airport, we drove to Red Lodge and are staying with a friend, Mitchell Kertzman. This is a different kind of KOA (Kertzman of America) than we are used to. Now we are talking. We have a wonderful guest house on one of the most stunning pieces of property I've ever seen .... deep in a canyon, next to a roaring brook, with magnificent views. We joined the Kertzman family for a terrific dinner of smoked chicken, then played multiple arcade games in the "shed" (everyone should have such a shed), got on-line with Mitchell's T1 (heaven), watched a rocket launch (after which Lenny promptly went on line and bought some rockets himself), and I'm busy doing two loads of laundry. If it wasn't for the draw of Mt. Rushmore calling to me, I would petition the family to forget the itinerary and stay here for days.

And yes, Grace, it's a real bed!!

P.S. Had the worst latte of my life in the Bozeman airport, desperately seeking a Starbucks, still to no avail .....
